What we Do

Our Ministries are shaped by our vision to reach, raise and release, making modern day apprentices of Jesus who fulfil the great commission.

These fall under two main groupings, Church centred ministries and Community centred ministries.

Church Centred Ministries

Sunday Morning Service

Sunday morning, 10am

This is our main Word and Worship gathering. It’s a vibrant, positive life giving gathering centred around The Word and The Holy Spirit. Every week we celebrate Communion. Communion is the centre piece of Christian Community.

Sunday Evenings

Sunday evening: 6pm

Is where we gather to zone in on Acts 2: 42-47. First Sunday is Prayer, Second Sunday is Beacon Academy, with other events on free Sundays.

Worship

Worship Ministry

Led by Katie Ashcroft. It includes both tech and music. We have a growing, committed team of worship leaders at Beacon. We emphasise above all the Presence of The Holy Spirit. The worship team meet on Friday nights at 7:30pm for practice and development. We set a high bar for joining the team, along with an obvious commitment to Jesus, you need to be a member of Beacon and ideally be a member of a Life Group, talent is not enough, we look for anointing.

Life Groups

Life Groups

Haze Bryan is our Life Groups Coordinator. Life Groups are where the life of Beacon happens. They meet in homes, are centred around the Word, refreshments, community and support and have three main aims, the first is for more mature believers who are looking for a place of connection and community. If that’s you, then join a L-I-F-E Group. These are where you L learn together, I Inspire each other, F Fellowship together and Evangelise together. Theses groups a facilitated by a Life Group Coordinator. The second type of Life Group is a discipleship group. These are mainly for new believers or for believers who want to revisit their foundations. We use our own teaching materials for this along with other teaching materials including Keys To Freedom, SHAPE and School of The Supernatural. Groups meet all over Burntwood, Lichfield and Heath Hayes. The third type of group are missional groups. These are strategic groups designed to start new gospel communities.

Kids Church is a fun, age appropriate environment where we connect your child to the core teaching of Christianity in an interactive way. Kids Church is led by Kirsty and Gavin Lewis. As well as Kids Church, we include the children in church services and kids worship at various times throughout the year. The team who lead Kids Church are all DBS checked and safeguarded.
